Longitudinal pipes steel electrowelded

There are two the most used welding methods: gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) - is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungstenelectrode to produce the weld and high frequency (HF) welding - is the joining of materials by supplying HF energy in the form of an electromagnetic field.

The weld made with the first method is stronger but the second method of welding is about 20 times faster, respectively, HF welded pipes are much cheaper.


Helical pipes steel electrowelded

Production of this type of the pipes is the same as the production of the longitudinal pipes steel electrowelded but the strand is rolled up with roll mills, turning not into the pipe, but into the spiral. Spiral weld provides the pipe with great tensile strength.

Seamless hot-wrought pipe

The seamless pipe (it is also called weldless drawn pipe) is produced from the cylindrical solid-cast stock material with the hot deformation method:

Seamless cold-rolled pipe

There are only two differences from the production of the previous pipe type:

This process makes the steel more ductile, also unavoidable internal stresses leave the metal.

The market offers seamless cold-rolled pipes with wall thickness of 0.3 to 24mm, diameter from 5 to 250mm.

AV metal group produces

Wall thickness up to 3mm
Shaped pipes:

The production of AV metal group corresponds to the European certificate of factory production control in accordance with the DIN EN 102-12-1: 2006. For more information follow the link. This standard regulates the production of welded circular and shaped pipes that are manufactured in a cold way.

Our products are subject to internal factory control, which is inspected by the supervision web-site of construction products in the TÜV Thüringen e. V.

General characteristic of production Birlik Makine ВТМ 120Н

Up to date, Birlik Makine has been installed and put into operation, on which electro-welded round and shaped pipes are produced. The type of welding is high-frequency welding. Also, square and rectangular welded shaped pipes, round pipes for gas and water conveyance, structural pipes from hot-rolled and cold-rolled coiled steel are produced.
